Suede Moccasin Slippers with Thinsulate™

Bought these with a discount but would've been happy to have paid full price as good quality slippers.

Purchased 2 pairs in sale for £16 (usually £22.50 which is a little steep). At this price they are very good value for money as a previous pair lasted my husband around 10 months and they have a lot of wear as he uses them as casual shoes inside/outside most of the year. I am advised they are very comfortable, fit well and look good. Good quality item and would highly recommend. Incidentally, M&S have finally sorted out a problem with the stitching in older versions, whereby as the soles became worn the stitching (which went through to the sole) broke and the sole and upper split - causing a tripping hazard. The Moccasins currently available are free of this defect and much the better, lasting much longer before replacement.

PLASTIC TIES WHICH ARE UNADJUSTABLE AND LOOK CHEAP-POOR QUALITY

Happy with the slipper BUT when tried on found it quite narrow. Having bought slippers before from M & S I was disappointed and returned the item. The same was true of a pair of shoes bought at the same time. I have bought M & S shoes before and they fit fine BUT don't do so now.

Even more sturdy than previous slippers as these have a collar of extra material around the back where my husband has.in a previous pair. not slipped them on properly and has squashed the back- it won't happen with these. I don't think he will be needing new slippers for Christmas (it is now July!) these are sure to last - watch this space!

I have had this style before and they lasted about 4 years so I have just replaced like for like. Very durable, good fit and good quality.

My husband has wore this style of slipper for many years and we have noticed an gradual decline in the quality. The cheap and nasty plastic, fake laces will not stay laced and break off very easily and the sole comes away from the main body of the slipper after just a couple of months. He owns two pairs and the same problem has happened on both. Improve it please M&S otherwise I will move our business to a competitor.

I love the slippers in general, very good quality and comfort BUT the laces have to be replaced with something that can be tied and remain tied. The laces supplied are a nightmare and must be looked at by M & S. My laces have to be retied up to four times in an evening and unfortuneatly they don't appear to pull out to allow replacement, it seems they are stitched in at the back. Come on M & S this is a fairly basic fault.

My husband is very pleased with his new slippers only downfall is laces coming undone.

Delivery was prompt - available for collection from local store on the day following order placement. The lace tie is a problem, as other reviewers have commented - it slips and comes undone far too easily. This really needs to be changed - it's difficult for the customer to do it as it involves threading a lace all the way through the channel which goes round the back of the heel. The unfortunate thing was that after collecting the item I opened an email from M&S which told me that the slippers were now reduced in price. If I had placed my order one day later...
