Striped Tunic Dress

Bought this dress in the sale. Love it. Had it sent to my holiday address in Scottsdale Arizona, USA along with two other items I had ordered. Ordered on Tuesday, delivered on Friday. Brilliant service M&S.

Absolutely loved this dress - been useful for so many occasions. Sadly when I washed it as instructed it shrank both in width and length so have had to take it back and I have received a full refund. The item is now in the sale and there are no more left in my size. The new one that is in now, I do not feel is nearly as nice as this one so very upset! Please M&S bring one out one like this again!

In the Sale, my local store had only a size 16 and I tried it on. It looked okay but I knew I would need a larger size to be comfy. I don't like tunics to fit like a sweater so I ordered a 20 and a 22. The necklines were neat and shoulders not too wide even on the 22 whereas most would be far too big for me.. Both were fine. Because the tunic has weight to it, curves in at the waist, hangs beautifully and has a high cotton content (which I prefer),I decided to keep the 22 and ordered two more and am happy with them.

I am 5ft 8inches and when I tried this tunic dress I found out is neither here now there in length you cannot call it a tunic as it is a bit too long or a dress as it is too short and the pockets end up on your thighs. The skirt bit of the item is more flared out like a skater dress. It would be better a bit shorted then you can call it a tunic when I compared this item with my other tunics I have purchased from M&S it was 15cm longer than my other tunics. If you shorted the item by 15cm you could wear it as a tunic but it would look odd as the pockets would virtually on the bottom of the tunic near the hem. Maybe if you are smaller in height it would look beautiful as a dress with black tights a polo neck underneath and knee high boots or jodpher boots.

Happy with this, nothing amazing but fits well, looks neat and tidy, could be a dress or tunic. Don't usually buy Per Una as its far too fussy for my taste but this dress will definitely be worn a lot.

I really love this dress! It fits perfectly and i know it is going to be so useful for day or evening wear. A real winner !

The 18 was too tight on the arms, the 20 too big in the body and the neck line gaping. Disappointed as I like the look of the dress.
