Ruched Bikini Boyshorts

My online purchase consisted of two of these in different colours in a size 16 as they were out of stock in my local store, in store the material felt robust and of good quality prompting me to make the purchase in the belief I was spending a little extra than I normally would on beach wear but confident I would be receiving a quality product. Delivery received, I packed them straight away into my suitcase. Upon inspection on holiday I noticed the navy pair being somewhat larger than the black pair even though they are both the same size. Initially they felt comfortable around the waist if not a little on the loose side. The gusset area is very narrow for the style and had an uncomfortable thong like feel to it the circumference of the leg area is quite large and was a poor fit without a snug grip to the leg. What is most most disappointing is when I entered the water the shorts became extremely baggy around the leg area exposing more flesh than is acceptable, this restricted my water activities as I was worried I was going to lose them at some point! In summary: The style of these shorts appealed to me because I want good coverage around the upper thigh and tummy area as I enjoy water sports and snorkelling, however they failed to do the job as when wet become very baggy and once on they look quite different to the item on the model. I am actually a size 18 but knew these looked very generous when I viewed in store and purchased a size down but In hindsight I may have been better buying two sizes down, or possibly three. Overall I would not recommend these for quality and fit and could have spent a lot less on similar products at another store.

Work really well with tankini but should have ordered smaller size. Fit well when you first put on but begin to give and gape at the leg after sitting for a while. Really comfortable though.

Bought the matching tankini top at same time and the shorts are ideal with it. Better still you can extend the length up to the waist nearly which gives more confidence in wearing them.

These were an excellent comfortable fit

I really love these shorts. I purchased them in black and navy and find them very flattering, particularly the versatile flap on the waistband, which can be worn up or down. Very good for the young and more mature alike.
