I ordered this cake as it looked simple but stylish and added in my own floral cake topper which gave the cake a very elegant look. However I was disappointed with the taste of the cake and thought it was rather bland. It also had too much icing. On the positive side it had a fairly long sell by date. Not up to M&S standards on this occasion which is a shame particularly for a wedding cake.

We decided to go with the M&S sponge pearl wedding cake as a 'budget' cake option due to the reasonable price but the quality of this cake was anything but budget! From start to finish the ordering process was easy and simple and collection went to plan. The look of the cake is very stylish and many guests commented on how lovely it was. The cake itself tasted great and wasn't too sickly. I couldn't have been more happy with it! Would highly recommend this wedding cake!

Great cake, great value for money! I changed the ribbon to match my colour scheme and added a cake topper and it was absolutely perfect. Got lovely comments from guests about how great it looked...and tasted!! Very, very happy with my choice - yay M&S. Would recommend without hesitation.

Lovely cake, missing jam in the filling as I had expected. Tasted lovely. Main complaint though was the assembly instructions which were not clea,r in fact overly complicated. Just required to stack one on top of the other but information re dowels etc very complicated and link to website no help at all.

We ordered this cake plus two fruit cutting platters for our wedding in August and I could not have been more happy with the presentation, the ease of how to put the cake together and the taste! The cake was so fresh and everyone commented on it. I removed the ivory ribbon it came with and replaced it with my colour scheme ribbon and it looked incredible! I would HIGHLY recommend M&S wedding cakes to everyone! Such amazing value for money.
