Elizabeth Linen Longline Coat

Lovey coat...best so far, Downside: being linen will need a lot of maintenance.

I had given up looking for a simple linen coat until I saw this. The linen is the palest of pinks, almost a blush, or peach shade. The linen itself is of a tight weave, with the result it cannot be parted as with poorer quality linens. The masculine style tailoring is softened by the rounded shoulders, and buttermilk coloured marled buttons positioned at the waist and on the cuffs. A real bonus is the fact that the coat has no pockets, just pocket details. I have taken my own size and find it a good fit. At 5'6" tall, this coat sits midway down my calf. I expect to have a lot of wear from this coat, as it looks good worn with a slimline black trouser, or white loose fitting jeans.

A very pretty shade of pink. Good quality linen with a lovely lining. The size is generous - I take 8 or 10 in coats; this coat easily fitted in size 8. Initially I thought of it as a great casual coat to throw over everything and anything in Summer; but it is double-breasted with two big buttons so it can also look very smart. great value for money.

the colour is not as pink as the photo. It's more pale peach- basically same colour as the tie blouse in this range- which put me off at first as I liked the brighter pink in the photo. However it is a lovely quality coat - not only fabulous quality linen but beautifully finished with good attention to detail. It is cut loose so if you want a close-fitted style you'd need to go a size down. I think it makes a great quality statement coat and hope to get lots of wear from it - weather permitting!
