Pure Cashmere Scarf

The colour was blah and it felt thin. I love a scarf but I sent this one back!

I had 2 previous lightweight cashmere shawls that I had purchased from M&S about 6 years ago I loved them and have been waiting for M&S to reintroduce them so I could replace my moth eaten ones! I purchased this item and could not have been more disappointed, the quality was not what I would have expected, very thin yarn and a loose knitting construction which made the product completely see through and limp. It looked very cheap and not at all luxurious. I have returned the item.and shall purchase my replacement shawls elsewhere.

I was really looking forward to a new, soft, snuggly cashmere scarf for Winter... What a deep dissapointment... The cashmere quality is not the same as the clothing range of cashmere, its loose knit and open , fine look is terrible...didn't even look like cashmere...I took it straight back to store for a refund!!!

love the feel of this scarf - very soft and cosy - the only downside is that it snags quite easily !

This scarf is lovely in colour and to the touch but doesn't feel as luxurious as I would have expected given that it is a cashmere one. I also own 2 other M&S similar cashmere scarves and this one doesn't look and feel as good as the other 2. Still a nice scarf, warm and comfortable to wear but not a WOW one...

Fine woven cashmere. This scarf is beautifully fine and soft, wraps and folds easily and looks gorgeous in the soft grey colour. Not bulky so can be worn with coats, gilets etc... its fine texture is also its downfall as it catches and the fine threads pull easily. I have managed to do a small repair and still really like it however.

This scarf is exactly what it is supposed to be, lightweight but warm. However, what is going on with the ugly black labels? The M&S of old would never have cut corners like this, you have managed to make what is a pretty expensive item look cheap. Surely it should be possible to use some kind of "easy peel " label? If Primark can then you can!!!

Got this scarf for my birthday (as I had got the small cashmere scarf as part of my christmas and loved it). I was a bit disapointed when I opened it as it was very thin, anyway I tried it on and wore it for a couple of hours only to discover it had shed all over my jumper. Sadly it went back.

Certainly not worth the price! 'Opulent' is exactly what it is not - it looks rather cheap and does not feel like cashmere. Very disappointing - taken straight back.
