Printed Wide Leg Trousers

beautiful style and material, bought for Caribbean holiday where you need something loose and cool but stylish, dressed up with silky vest top for evening, slightly long but kept them as short was sold out, would like to see other colours & pattern is this cool fabric

Fab trousers. Generous fit and very flattering. But as said by other reviewers, why are they so long? I often buy regular length but this time bought short and they trailed along the floor. No good at sewing so took them back. I asked the assistant why were they made so long and she made some comment about a different manufacturer. Incidentally I have also bought a pair of lovely bright pink wide linen pants. I bought Petite/Short. Again too long. Found Petite/ExtraShort and they are just right, but at 5'2 am I extra short!!! I don't think so. M&S please sort this out.

At 5ft 6" I bought these in my usual length of regular, but these were way to long and pooled on the floor, even in a small heel shoe. I exchanged for a short length expecting this to be ok, but having got home and tried on they are also way too long and still pool on the floor. Even with higher heels, which really isn't the look the trousers portray of boho, they still drag on the floor. Pulling them all the way up, doesn't work either! Such a shame because the trousers are so comfortable and the fabric a lovely quality. I couldn't wear them for fear for tripping up, so unfortunately I will have to return, or make an adjustment myself to the length.

Bought these to lounge around in the evening - they're super soft and very comfortable. Had to size down. Trousers are way too long, so bought the short length. I am 5 foot 3 (1.6m), and they still trail on the ground a bit. However, they're for wearing indoors and I always prefer to err on the side of slightly too long with wide leg trousers because I prefer that look. However, as a fan of wide leg trousers and having bought several pairs from M&S over the years, I do think the lengths are odd. I am normally a regular length but always buy the short length if I'm buying M&S wide leg trousers.

Tried these in a 14 reg. they were about 6 inches too long. Tried a 14 short still about 3 inches too long. Gave up
