CURVE Drape Half Sleeve Wrap Midi Dress

I ordered 3 dresses to try on and see what suited this one was lovely, I like the fact that it wasn’t black, not too short and the shape suited the curvier lady.

I thought that the style was a little old fashioned. Just because a person is a larger size doesn't mean that they don't like to be stylish and on trend

Lovely dress for work or going out, I’m 5ft 6 inches and it’s a perfect length just below knee. Material very good quality. The side feature hides any lumps and bumps

Bought this for a special occasion and felt young and modern. Very comfortable to wear. Love the colour. You can jazz it up if you want to be more formal.

Fits really well with enough substance in the material to skim curves and not cling.

Ordered this dress as wanted something for a wedding - felt it was more suitable for an everyday/work dress (versatile but not for the wedding!) Unfortunately the dress wasn't as flattering as I had hoped. The top of the dress fitted nicely but the ruching on the side did not sit smoothly. Other people might find it fits for them. Sadly sent the dress back.

I was so pleased when I saw that the Curve range was coming along so ordered this dress as soon as I saw it. When it arrived I was so pleased but then I put it on. I ordered two different sizes for choice and both fitted but the neckline gaped on both of them. But the worst problem for me was the length. I am 6ft tall with scars on my knees from surgery and so always hope to find a long length dress that will cover my knees. This dress pulled away over the knees and exposed them and just looked awful. It's supposed to be a midi dress but comes above the knee. Just who are these dresses made for? There is never enough length in M & S dresses and other items, eg jumpers, these days. Is this a cost cutting measure?

I was so delighted to discover that you'd relaunched your range of plus-sized clothes. They had become so mundane, unfeminine and dreary. I was hopeful. Curve sounded so much more positive than Plus. I was expecting a simple, figure-flattering, body-skimming, midi length, navy, cross-over dress that one could wear anywhere. However, this dress was a big disappointment. It combined fussiness with frumpishness. The pleat at the waist, the ruffles across the front, and the u-shaped opening at the hem revealing one knee, were most unflattering. The waist of the dress was too high for me, the hip area too broad, and the length too short. It would be interesting to know what body shape you are cutting for. It certainly isn't mine. Please start trying out your dresses on your loyal customers before putting them on sale. This dress is a disaster!
