PETITE Belted Military Coat

A lovely coat suitable for cooler temperatures. Sutiable to be worn with jeans for a casual look or with more formal clothes for work. Very comfortable, smart to look at and good quality.

I bought this coat for my daughter. She was extremely pleased with the fit and the smartness of the coat. At 5ft 2in the size 8 is a perfect fit for both work and casual.

I'm 5'2" and the fit was perfect, for me. Just right for spring evenings. Looks very smart on and comfortable.

i was looking for something smart enough to wear on evenings out, something substantial enough to keep out the chill but not bulky. thats exactly what i got. I'm nearly always a size 8 at m and s, so thats what i bought. its a very flattering fit, very neat, especially on the shoulders. I'm anything but skinny, when i wear this i feel "slim", result! felt the price was high, but the quality warranted it, on the plus side i bought mine during a 20% off promo.

Excellent quality and fit

This coat is a perfectly proportioned petite fit for me (5'3). Adored the cut and style. If only it had been made in a more substantial fabric because as other reviewers have said, this is definitely not a heavy duty winter coat. It falls nicely and is much better suited for Spring or early Autumn. The fabric is more like a jacket than a coat and I'm struggling to believe it justifies the cost on the material alone. I purchased mine during a 20% promotion but will have to return it as the left shoulder has a mark on it which feels sticky, like glue.

This is not a coat at all, more of a very smart jacket. The fabric is not what I expected at all! More like an upgrade on your classic double breasted rain mac. For the price I expected more of a coat! It is vastly overpriced for what it is! I am a petite size 10/12 and I found the size 8 coat to be shapeless and not very flattering on me! Certainly not like the fitted look on the model in the online picture! So will be returning mine for a more suitable and fitted winter coat!!

lovely coat for autumn! great fit on petite me,5 ft tall and size 12...not too long so looks good with trousers or jeans. probably wont be warm enough for winter but great for cooler autumn days am sure.

I was a bit worried about ordering this online and with no other reviews but I bought a similar coat last year with a funnel neck and love it so I gave it a go in the same size (in 8 although I'm normally a 10 in jeans and tops). It's absolutely perfect! It's in the same material - looks heavy but it's better for spring and autumn as it's not warm enough for mid-winter. It came with a plain black belt not studded as in the photo. The collar is perfectly proportioned and doesn't swamp me and the double breasted style too is neat without looking bulky. All in all, I'm delighted with this but please M&S, details on the website are important to us petite ladies(I'm 5') - I notice this model is stated as 5'5" in some photos and 5'3" in others. She is said to be a size 12 and I would seriously doubt the accuracy of that information too.
