Long Soft Parka with Stormwear™

I bought this jacket in store in the pale pink colour, in my normal size 14 which fitted perfectly. However, although I loved the colour, when I got home I had second thoughts about the practicality of it and decided to return it. Looking on the website I discovered it was available in the dark green colour at half price! (No contest really), so I sent for a size 14 and 16 after reading some reviews re sizing. Glad I did as the size 14 was too small across the shoulders but the 16 fitted perfectly. I'm really pleased with my half-price bargain, love the colour and the material has a lovely soft finish. I'm not sure whether it is actually waterproof, but certainly showerproof so perfect through Spring/Summer.

Love my new jacket...colour is good but wouldn't have been prepared to pay the full price of £89 but worth the £44 I paid.

Perfect Parka, I did go up a size like so many have recommend and the fit is great for me. Nice green colour, love the fact you can hide the hood in the collar, it's a light jacket, but I think it will also prove to be warm. Great bargain in the sale, but I would not have paid the full price for it.

Excellent value jacket if bought in the sale. The colour is lovely and material soft. As others have mentioned you do need to go up a size and it wouldn't be warm enough for winter on the east coast. That being said great for spring and autumn although full price would have made me return.

Do make sure (as others have mentioned) you buy a size larger than your normal size. This is necessary for both the arms and the body I found. I am in the process of losing weight but I reckon I'll still be able to wear the size 18 when I get down to a 14, as you can easily adjust the waist draw-string to fit. I love the fact it has popper studs as well as a zip, loads of pockets and a great hood with a draw-string, so you can actually keep it up, rather than it being blown down the wind (which is what happens with most of the hoods nowadays). The waist draw-string is a little flimsy and I hope will hold up to some wear and tear. The colour of the jacket is lovely and the lining very attractive. The length and fit of the sleeves is just right in a size larger than normal. There is a green ribbed cotton cuff at the bottom of the sleeves. I have yet to test the jacket out in the rain, but no doubt will not be waiting long to try it out in this in typical Spring weather! All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Lovely smart,casual style. Lovely colour. I'm glad that I read the reviews before ordering because most said that the fit was small. I ordered size 16 instead of my usual size 14 and so pleased that I did because it is not a very generous fit round the armholes. that is why I rated it 4 stars. I bought mine in the sale at £49 and would not have paid the full price of £89. At the price Ipaid I feel I have a very nice Spring/Autumn jacket. Have not worn it yet so do not know how much protection it gives from the rain.P

This coat is lovely, casual but smart. Lovely colour and just right for a spring or autumn day. It is waterproof as well.

I liked the style of the Parka, I ordered a size 20 because I have put on weight. The parka is plenty roomy enough around the body, however it doesn't cater for large upper arms, which a person who is size 20 would normally require. The price of the parka was £89.00 before it was reduced, which I wouldn't have paid.
