Linen Rich Shirt Midi Dress with Belt

Love this dress. Fit and fabric excellent. Washes like a dream too. Would buy more cols if they were available.

I bought this dress ahead of my summer holiday as I liked the colour and linen is nice and cool to wear but in this case the linen was quite thick and heavy and I figured it would crease very easily having been packed into a case so I have returned it.

I had to buy two sizes up for it to drop correctly very odd

Really disappointed with this dress thought it would be ideal for summer but no shape poor material and cut and just generally disappointing had to return

I am 5.8" and loved the length on me, I thought the longer back looked stylish. The fabric is heavier than I expected and possibly hot when abroad - we shall see! But the loose fit and side slits are breezy and may compensate. Was quite creased when it arrived so hope it doesn't crease too much when worn. Loved the blue colour, it's very flattering, and the button front makes it a versatile garment. All in all very happy with it.

The pockets spoiled the side seams. When tried without a belt, the side seams drooped. with the weight of the pockets.

The back is a different length - not sure who this would look good on but be aware when ordering (it's not clear in pic). Lovely colour, fabric and fit, just odd design feature. If had good seamstress locally would have got to re-seam but just returned instead. Slightly baffling as it just looks a bit odd on!

Liked it but just dident suit me looked like a long nightshirt :-(

Just what I have been looking for. Had to remove the long panel at the back, looks good now.

This looked good in the photo but in real life the main problem with this dress is the fabric. It's very soft and has no structure in it, which makes it feel like you're wearing your dressing-gown, so a bit odd for something you'd need for outside. I was also nervous about the viscose content, because synthetic fibres don't breathe well and make you hotter in warm weather - the advantage of pure linen is that it's very cooling. Of course for the price you couldn't expect anything but a mix, but it just didn't work for me. Also, it really needs to be worn belted. Without the belt it's shapeless, but it's nice to have the option of either/or. So I'm returning it.
