Leather Lace-up Chukka Boots

Like other customers I found that after only a few weeks of wear, one of the boots developed an embarrassing squeak in the heel. The reason was it is only held on by a few very small boot nails and one had worked loose. Now the bottom of the heel has opened up. Very disappointing and poor quality and not what you expect of M&S. If so many customers have reported the same problem then these poor quality boots should be discontinued.

I purchased these for work as they looked like a good sturdy boot that would be practical, hard wearing and could be worn with a suit etc... The first problem I encountered was that there was an annoying squeak in the heel of one boot. I got this changed and then after a while the situation arose again and the heel became dislodged exposing the silver metal pins and dislodging the sole. Basically, they are poorly made and this is an unacceptable situation for customers to pay £80 for a product that is not upto M and S usual standards. I would be confident that many other people will have experienced similar with them but they have not been fully reported. I plan to contact M and S to ask for a refund or exchange for another product. Not a good purchase !!

Not as it states in description "A wise investment!" I bought these boots as they seemed like a good purchase. The first time I wore them there were no issues and I even got comments about the stylish looks. They were a bit stiff but as they were new I did not object. Today I wore them for the second time and noticed as I got to work, a business trip in Germany, that something was uneven and noticed that the heel of the right shoe had disappeared. I am now in the position with snow on the ground that I have to purchase an alternative as M&S cannot do anything until I return to UK in a couple of weeks. I am the second that has had the same issue..perhaps I should read reviews before purchasing again.

Wore these boots only twice and the heel fell off!

Lovely shoes, but had to be returned as were definitely not a matching pair. One shoe was very shiny, other was rougher finish. Will order another pair and hope for better quality control.

Bought this as a gift for a mate and he was so happy with them ! He said they were very Comfortable and loved the smart black look of them :D

Decided to buy these and was not disappointed.They fit just right and look nice.
