Lace Skirt

Beautiful classy skirt. Would have been ideal, if I could have found equally classy top to go with it & complete the outfit from the autograph range. So, on this occasion it was returned.

Fell in love with this as soon as I saw it online and just had to have it in spite of the price! Im now hoping that I will get invited somewhere nice to be able to wear it .Think I will keep this for years as Im really pleased with it Thank you M & S you have redeemed yourself

I'd seen this skirt in my local store and thought it absolutely beautiful, but didn't want to spend £99. I succumbed, however, with the 20% off Autograph promotion and I'm so glad I did. The design and quality fabric make this an exquisite piece. It's beautifully constructed too, with the pleats restricted to the front and back of the skirt and the side seams left cleverly unpleated, thereby not adding any width to your hips. The sparkly lace is just gorgeous, but not so fine you'd worry about catching it. The colour is more cafe au lait, than coffee - not at all dark and with an almost lilac/pinky tone. I don't think it will be easy finding a colour top to go with it, but of what I've tried so far, taupe or mushroom works (but definitely not warmer browns) and silver-grey, cream or white also work. I have to agree with a previous reviewer that this skirt is not ankle length (although that doesn't bother me). I'm a shade under 5' 4" and it reaches to my lower calf, which is fine for me. I love this skirt and can't wait to have an excuse to wear it!

This is a beautifully designed and made skirt. The quality of the material and the subtle sparkles are lovely and it would be perfect for a wedding or posh summer party. The colour is a teensy bit dull so you would need to have complimentary skin tone or careful accessorising to really make the most of it

The lace of this skirt is beautiful - it has a sparkle to it which you can't see online. Unfortunately it only came to my calf - much shorter than on the model (and I am a good inch shorter than her). As it was the length that appealed to me, it is going back. Up close I can see why it is so expensive but I'm not sure that when it's on it looks worth the money. I got 20% off and still think it was over priced.
