Very disappointed!
No, I don't recommend this
I bought these trousers for my nearly 14 year old daughter. I had read previous reviews regarding the material before purchasing but thought I would give them a try anyway. Big mistake! As soon as I took them out of the wrapper the texture of the material hit me! My daughter tried them on and without knowing my views commented on them feeling "rough" and "scratchy", I can just imagine how uncomfortable that would be wearing them throughout a school day! I've had to return them, I expected better from M & S as they aren't the cheapest of school trousers either!

Purchased these for my 5’ 7” leggy 13 year old. The age 13/14 standard length was way too big on the waist and too short on the leg. So opted for the 12/13 long. (She usually wears an adult 6/8) These still have a little room on the waist but can be adjusted with the elastic. They look great and super trendy .

Nice trousers. Fit well and look nice on. My daughter is average build but tall for her age. 5 ft 4 at the age of 11 we bought age 15 to 16 trousers and they fit perfectly. Added bonus is the belt that comes with them. The trousers look stylish and seem to wash well.

I am not sure what kids M&S measures to obtain standard sizes, but these were huge on my 15 year old girls. It doesn't matter how good they are in terms of style, value for money ect, if they don't fit. My kids both have a BMI of 21 so I don't think it's them. Shame as M&S can normally be relied on.

Although she is tall for her age, l didn't think she was quite THAT tall. But all the other ages were just way too short. Bit big round the waist, but that is adjustable. But they must have sized up very small.
