Product Description

A wonderfully fruity, silky-smooth red Burgundy, aromatic with ripe, rounded flavours of juicy strawberry and plum and a subtle hint of spice and roasted nuts.

The magnificent red wines of Gevrey-Chambertin, in the CÔtes de Nuits of Burgundy, provide some of the very best examples of Pinot Noir in the world. Here a particularly fine blance between ripe, rich fruit and soft, smooth texture has been created by winemaker Rotem Brakin working with Pinot Noir from exceptionally good 2005 vintage. The wine was aged in barrels for a year which has added extra layers of spicy oak.
