Geometric Print Shirt Dress

Lovely dress, very different and comfortable to wear. Looks great with flat shoes. Great value, especially as I got it in the sale.

Overall delighted with dress, style and value. Fit a little large, which I find is an ongoing issue with M&S these days. I am a 10, a size 8 is more appropriate albeit a bit on the neat side depending on the iitem. Love the new collection, hope it fits better than the current season. Great styling, fabrics and colours. Welll done Marks & Sparkles.

True to size, can't fault this

Loved this dress. Perfect.

Tried on 12 & 14 and decided on the 12, it felt and looked great on. Loved the length above the knee and as I said in the title very reminiscent of the 60's. Noticed a comment in another review about the button fastening up the front. There are 2 small buttons inside which fasten up the opposite way and I was confused at first until I realised these were to stop the chance of the dress gaping across the bust area which can happen in many dresses/tops, great initiative M&S and so easy to overcome with your little buttons :) Wore the dress over the weekend and received loads of comments on how nice it looked. I also read the comment about the colour running so was a bit worried, however I bought some colour run sheets, available almost everywhere, and washed the dress as instructed 30 degree wash, with colour detergent and a colour run sheet in the drum and hey presto the collar and the dress are still as original.

Like the last reviewer, I too washed this at 30 degrees (with white underwear) and the collar is now a murky grey colour. I will be taking it back. The purpose of the white collar is surely to be a sharp contrast to the dress.

I bought this dress have worn it a couple of times and being delighted. I can understand the previous reviews, at 5 feet tall it fits me prefectly. Here come the but, having just washed it for the first time ( on it's own )! on a 30 wash and the colour has run, making the cream collar and the cream part of the design a mucky grey. I'm astonished, having shopped at M & S for 30+ years this has never happened to me. I will try taking it back, but not sure how you stand, it's only my word that nothing else was in the washer. It wouldn't stop me shopping at M&S but I am truly suprised.
