Leather Wide Fit Ankle Strap Sandals

Nice sandals and good quality leather but the length of the ankle strap was so long it looked quite ridiculous on. Unfortunately had to return them. I should have listened to previous reviewers.

I have a wide foot and a not-too-slim ankle (!) but the straps are very long so the ends flap a bit on the outside. The sandals fit well though. They rubbed the back of my ankle a little bit at first as the back of the sandal is quite high. Overall, though am very pleased with them and for the money they are excellent value and look very smart

Just bought these sandals today and am extremely happy. It is so hard to find stylish wide fitting sandals - even my teenage daughter likes them! These are very comfortable and versatile enough to wear with many different outfits. Unlike other reviewers I found the straps just right (I have normal size ankles by the way!)

I loved the look of these shoes. As I picked up my size I saw that these shoes were a wide fit. A bit disappointed I decided to try them anyway, l immediately thought that the strap did look excessively long even for a 'wide fit' sandal. Long is not the word,! I could have wrapped it around my ankle almost twice!!!!! and as someone else has written there was nowhere to put the strap once it had gone through the silver metal piece for it. Consequently the strap was sticking out and hanging in 'mid air'. I would imagine even a lady with very large or swollen ankles would find it 'way too long' I also saw that the thin strip of Velcro on the back of this strap that attaches it to the shoe was 'hanging off and ripped around 7 or 8 inches. Extremely disappointing quality. .

These sandals are made from beautiful soft leather and are very comfortable and good looking. Thank goodness for M&S's wide-fitting shoes. Nobody does them better.

Just perfect for my holiday and very important they are comfortable.

A lovely looking comfortable sandal but I struggle to understand how it can get to be marketed with such a major fault - the strap is way too long and when wrapped around and through the silver clasp (as shown in the photos) there is a huge piece of strap left and no where to put it. I am a large lady with large ankles so on a slim person there would be inches of excess strap! Return is only option unfortunately.
