Embellished Skater Dress

Ordered this to wear on evenings when cruising. I would recommend the dress for its style, shape, fabric and the sewn-on jewels. I liked the short sleeves as they cover up unsightly flesh around the upper arm. The only reason I didn't keep it is that the colour made me look washed out. The zip seemed to struggle at the seam joining the upper dress with the skirt but that wouldn't have been a "show-stopper" for me.

I bought this dress for a winter wedding and it was perfect.

I first saw this dress at Milton Keynes branch, but at the time it was nearly £100 so put it back. But then of course saw it in the sale. My partner and I thought it looked fabulous on, just right for New Years Eve's James Bond theme. Just enough sparkle, perfect length for my age, plus SLEEVES.

Bought this to wear for my work christmas party and ordered my size and a smaller size. Even the smaller size was too big and didn't fit no where near well as it does in the photo of the model. Will be taking both sizes back.

I wanted a dress for a party I'm going to. I liked the style of the dress but was a bit concerned about the sparkles. I needn't have been. They are lovely and quite subtle. The fit is lovely and I like the fabric. Very pleased and now looking forward to the party!

Nice dress bought for a party night. Comfortable although lining is thin so will need to wear a slip underneath.

I liked the dress very much, but it was to dressie for where I wanted to wear it, and to expensive to keep in case, I did however buy two of your lace dresses one black lace and the same in burgundy. They are both perfect and Imjust know I will wear them a lot, they even look good with thicker black tights, flat or dressie high heels.

I like the style of this party dress, especially the round neckline, the short sleeves and the embellishing. I do not like the revealing gap between the top of the zip and the nape of the neck. Although I am only 5ft and normally wear Petite fittings, having studied the garment measurement on the website, I ordered standard length in this dress. However, it was too short - way above my knee. Moreover, although the waistband was at the right level at the back, at the front it was well above my waist. I could not have worn this dress and have had to return it.

Nothing subtle about the 'sparkles' on this dress, too much, too big & too tacky. Dress is covered in ugly netting. Style might suit a 6-10 year old but been upsized to fit an adult. I'm roughly a size 12 but find M&S size 10 usually fits as they are a touch on the large size (as long as it's not a straight style). Gathering round the waist was extremely unflattering, not what I would describe as a 'skater dress' which would have seams to flare it out, not ugly gathering. Bit difficult to zip up over the ribbon round the waist, zip tended to stick there & might need more brute force than I wanted to give it. Did not like this dress at all, not up to M&S usual tasteful styling & looks better in the photo. Hideously overpriced. To be returned forthwith.
