Ditsy Embroidered Bedding Set

The design is very fresh and pretty, although I agree with a previous reviewer that the embroidery on the pillowcases could be better placed - it is right on the edge so cannot really be seen when they are on the pillows. Unfortunately, as others have said, the set has come out crumpled after its first wash. I will have to iron the pillowcases but life's too short to iron duvet covers. It's not so bad I can't live with it. I have an old duvet cover (St Michael label!) which has only 1% less cotton content than this and has a lovely silky smooth cool finish and washes beautifully. I could feel this material was different and guessed it might crumple but it is pretty and was very cheap in the sale, so decided to keep it.

Fresh and feminine I have bought it as a guest set for my blue decorated spare room.

BEEN BUYING M&S BEDDING FOR YEARS AND THIS IS THE WORSE I HAVE HAD. VERY THIN AND SEE THROUGH MATERIAL, EMBROIDERY ALREADY COMING LOOSE AFTER 1 WASH. NIGHTMARE TO IRON AND LOOKS VERY CREASED AND UNTIDY ON THE BED AFTER 1 NIGHTS SLEEP. NOT A GOOD BUY.

A very pretty design. Matches perfectly with my blue bedroom. Material quality is very good. Easy to wash and iron. Fits my quilt perfectly. I was surprised this standard of quality did not break the bank. I get fed up with the top and bottom part of quilts not matching perfectly, making folding and ironing difficult, Not this one. Corners and sides very symmetrical.

I am usually a big fan of M&S bedding but not this time. The fabric is very thin and the white has turned off-white very quickly which spoils the fresh look. Also, if you have any pets, forget it! Our dog is not allowed in the bedroom but hair and dust cling to this cover. Waiting for the cold nights to kick in so the fleecy duvet covers can come out and this can be relegated to the back of the airing cupboard (forever!)

Thin, awful quality, embroidery already fraying. Don't waste your money. It is impossible to iron and fold up. Truly dreadful. Would happily give it no stars

Duvet cover is lovely design but pillow spaces are rather boring - the small amount of embroidery does not show and they would,look better if they were a contrasting blue rather than well white

I like the design and as I was looking for a colour that is not currently readily available I was delighted. However, the fabric is very thin and see through and I fear will not wear well. Anything at even 200 thread count does not last long in my experience - I have had several duvet covers go into holes or tears over the years. This is only 180 thread count, but I don't think that was mentioned in the particulars. I could not get the additional information button to work at the time, so not sure if it is mentioned there. I probably wouldn't have purchased had I known.

Really nice looking and well made. fits perfectly. Have to wait and see how it performs after a few washes.
