Bold Floral Shift Dress

This dress is gorgeous and fits me perfectly. The design is lovely and fresh. I bought this two weeks ago for a christening I am going to in December and then discovered it had gone into the sale at half price. I sent an email saying how annoying this was and m&s came up trumps and allowed me to return it and re-purchase it at the sale price so 10 out of 10 for customer service.

This is a strange dress really as the pattern is very summery yet the material is thick and has an almost rubbery feel to it. I read the reviews and managed to get a size larger than my usual size 14 which I was excited about. However I found the dress very frumpy on me and not at all how I imagined after seeing it in the online video and photos. It's a shame really because the pattern of the big flowers really is nice and the colours too. I felt sure that I would really like this dress but unfortunately that isn't the case. This may go back despite the cost of the postage!

Returned this dress as I did not like the fit with the side zip. Also it was very warm material with long sleeves.

A beautiful floral dress with tight fitting. I bought one size bigger than my usual size as I don't like too tight. Its perfect. Looks much more expensive that it is. Thank you Marks and Spencer!

Liked this dress so much I waited for you to get my size in again - really please I persevered -it is so pretty and very wearable for most of the year.

We'll what can I say other than this dress makes me feel fab!! When I tried it on at home and showed hubbie, he just said Wow!!! That's worth it for me! The dress itself doesn't look it's best on the hanger but once it's on it's gorgeous. I wasn't sure about the feel of the material but it's great at just holding in those little parts that want hiding. I don't usually go for patterns like this but will again as its such a lovely change. I love the long sleeves especially this time of year. I have the same query as others though... Why the zip at the side?? I didn't notice it until the dress was on and it didn't lie straight on the seam. Zip to be taken out me thinks, Love the length as I'm 5'8" and it comes to my knee which is great for a change. The double split at the back is a bit different too. All in all a wonderful dress that makes me feel fab (and hubbie too!!) Thank you!

As it has long sleeves it is not for the current weather, but will be soon and I look forward to wearing it.

This dress is extremely small. I ordered both size 10 and 12 (I am usually a 10) and could not get the size 10 on! I just about managed the 12 but it was still tight. For me, the dress is slightly too short and the bold pattern doesn't really suit me, although I do like it. I also like the shape. However, it is made of a very thick synthetic stretchy material, which I don't like either.

As the title says, I absolutely love this dress!! The fit is true to size and looks fantastic on. I have brought this for a wedding at the end of October and having long sleeves it is perfect. The material is fairly thick, but doesn't make you feel hot when it is on and being non-crease is perfect. For £59 it is a great buy and looks very classy on. I highly recommend you buy this.

Love the material, and style of dress. I agree with the reviews of others. Zipper on side spoils the smooth line of dress, l will also have to have it removed. Dress is sized small, and tight on arms. Order next size up, or try to lose 10 pounds, also my new goal since l ordered this dress thanks for the motivation M&S. I also ordered the Floral Shift dress no problems with sizing, this must be a production issue since so many others have voiced the same concerns.
