having bought a grey flannel suit, which exceeded expectations, i have wanted a military style coat for a while, and had been looking at ones in crombie (£££), having tried it on, i had pretty much resigned myself to buying it as i had seen nothing else to compare, until i saw this. When it was delivered, the quality of the cloth is as good as any other high end overcoat, thick, heavy but soft. the style, fit and finish is exemplary, little details like the belt around the back is adjustable, not just sewn in as decoration. The shearling collar, is extremely soft, and i cant wait to wear it. thankyou m&s, i hope this best of british range continues. will be looking at the boots, cords and shirts for xmas, if anyone wants to oblige.
