Best of British Pure Silk Printed Shift Dress

Sometimes I need to buy the next size up to fit comfortably around my bust - this was not a problem with this dress as it is true to size. The length, even on me (just 5'3") is just above the knee. The price was out of my range at full price but excellent value in the sale. It is a really easy, relaxed style to wear and the silk material is light and comfortable - ideal for dressing up for a meal out (loose fitting and classy) or sight seeing (cool and classy). Could successfully be paired with leggings for more use in the cooler months. Don't get this dress if you like tight fitting, curvaceous lines as it is a very relaxed style.

This was more of a tunic on me. Why can't dresses have different lengths as the trousers do? I am not young, want a dress to reach my knees but, as no precise length was given in the description, other than "knee length", I decided to order this dress in the sale. It was 8 inches above my knees. I am 5 ft 9 ins but it puts me off buying this brand and it seems odd to make a dress for short people or those with nice legs (i.e. younger people) only. I would have kept it if it had been longer.

Style is simple and would suit many women but the print is dreary and it just reminded me of a posh overall so it went back. Colours don't have to be startling but, when using more subtle colours, print needs to be more interesting though not necessarily huge splodges. This was just dull.
