Best of British Pure New Wool Trousers

I so wanted to keep these but had to admit that the style did not suit me at all. I am quite curvy and the shorter length made me look quite dumpy. Navy colour was very nice though and makes a great change from black. They were fantastic value at the sale price. I returned them reluctantly as they did nothing for me. However would still recommend them to others to give them a whirl as they are very smart.

These trousers must be shown on a very short model. The leg length was way above this for me (5ft 9ins tall). Why does Best of British not have different leg lengths like other M and S trousers? Such an expensive item which will never fit more than a minority of people. Fabric was lovely, but so silly not to have a longer length. They have gone back, even at the sale price. I am never going to buy this brand again because it clearly is not made for taller people.

Nice style and lovely quality fabric but the sizing was huge. Had to be returned.

I was so excited, I love good wool trousers, however I have never been so disappointed. Size 8 wool trousers from other labels usually fit fine. M&S Size guide states Size 8 Waist 26inches Hips 35 inches, Sadly the Size 8 I received did not measure the same, the measurements being Waist is 31inches, Hips 40 inches. Beautiful Material, well finished. Sadly they are being returned.

perfect fit - size 14 with a smaller waist. beautiful fine wool in a slightly shiny inky blue. so good i might buy a second pair, even though they are expensive even on sale. nice to know they are british made.

These trousers are smart and very well made, modern cut but flattering for someone who is older too. The quality is much better than equivalently priced trousers from other stores so represents good value for money. They are a bit generous in the cut

These are supposed to be shorter but unfortunately they are so well tailored that you have to be a very precise height to wear them. I am 5'9" and a size 14. Although they fitted well the cut round the calf was too high and so they were tight and rode up around my calves, which are not particularly wide. We need different lengths in these, as in other trousers that are actually less tailored and therefore need it less. Beautifully made though.
