Best of British Drape Midi Dress

I would definitely not call this a midi dress-is a few inches above knee. Lovely LBD which is very flattering. Suits both formal and casual wear. I'm very happy with it and got lots of compliments when I wore it recently.

Uncomfortable material - stiff and cheap. The dress was not suitable for any type of occasion.

Flattering design but just a bit too short. Loved raglan sleeve and neckline. Fabric not quite black enough and quite delicate. Would prefer same design but longer, made from lyocell, silk or cotton jersey. Then I would buy two or three of same.

It was an OK dress and if I did not have to make every piece in my wardrobe work for me I might have kept it. As it is I felt it was not flattering enough to justify a place.

Lovely dress - looks good with flat sandals or heels. Great sleeve length too. Have got the coral one as well - would buy more if they were made in more colours.

The parcel's presentation in a box and with the gorgeous M&S Best of British wooden hanger was a beautiful touch, but I'm so disappointed that the dress length did not match the description: "Product shape: Midi dress" "Product length: Below the knee" I checked the meaning of 'Midi' to ensure that I understood it correctly. It describes the length of a garment as mid-calf. I didn't so much expect the dress to fully comply with this, however the specific description 'Below the knee' is not ambiguous and should mean, well, below the knee! I am not overly tall at 5'7'', but this dress is a good 3 inches above my knee. Thankfully, M&S have promised to refund the cost of the dress PLUS the postage, which is not an insignificant amount (airmail from Australia.) But all this could have been avoided if the dress's description had been accurate. I am an avid buyer from M&S and an advocate for their products and customer service. This experience will not deter me from shopping here!

Love this dres style was great but too short I am five foot two inches and it did not cover my knees so returned it

Thin fabric, no support for size 16, not at all flattering

The only thing small about this is the length! How can something which sits above or on the knee be described as midi length? Beautiful fabric, unfortunately the style doesn't allow for you being anything other than tall and shapeless. How disappointing.

This is a lightweight dress, easy to wear, comfortable and versatile. It did have a tendency to rise up so I felt I was constantly pulling it down! Maybe it was a little short but it is such good value and British made that it must be a winner! It arrived on a wooden hanger which was a nice touch. All in all, a good buy!
