This Oxford shoe style is simple and unfussy and will lift any suit they accompany. Looked after these shoes made of quality leather with a Goodyear welted sole will last for many years and if anything will improve with age as the leather upper softens and ages. For me the 9.5 was ideal and the shoes were wearable straight from the box although as with all new leather shoes the uppers will take a few wears to stretch and soften. Priced at £245 these shoes may seem expensive but for a quality crafted premium British made leather shoe they are not over priced. A RECOMMENDED BUY FOR THE DISCERNING MALE SHOE WEARER. The only negative, I would have expected a spare pair of laces to come as standard with the shoes.
