Bamboo Bread Bin

ab solutely delighted with this item. Bit small but adequate for my purpose.

Picked this up in sale, and at the price it's OK. Good size and the lid has grooves which collect the crumbs when slicing. However the lid is a completely different colour from the body, not just a different shade, so it looks a bit odd

Bread bin looks really smart until you open the lid and find three of the corners splitting. Disappointing as the quality is usually much better in kitchen ware,.

I have had this bread bin for less than a year. Although it looks stylish,it is totally impractical. It is not airtight so blue mould often appears on the underside of the lid/board. Now the corners are beginning to split, so will be returning this very shortly. Very disappointed,!

I wanted a bread bin with a lid that could be used as a bread board and this one ticks the box perfectly. It was delivered by CityLink. The bread bin itself is fine, average quality for an average price. The packing it came in was not adequate and was coming apart. It looks like it had been thrown around a bit. One of the runners inside the lid had come off - it was glued and pinned - but it wasn't too big a problem to fix it back on. The lid is slightly bowed so definitely not airtight. (The wood is thin bamboo strips glued together, so probably prone to warping in steamy kitchens.) Two of the corners of the bin are coming apart at the top. As they are opposite each other, and looking at the box it was delivered in, I'd say it was probably dropped on a corner during delivery. Overall a nice bin, but I suggest you get it delivered to a store and pick it up from there if you can. (Unfortunately this was not an option for me as we only have an Outlet store near here)

Good quality, quite small so if you buy lots of bread, buns etc may not be for you.

We wanted a bread bin that was practical and stylish. It is just that with a very useful lid that doubles as bread board.
