Airflex™ Leather Brogue Shoes

Quality was very poor .There was rough indentations on both uppers.Therefore I had no choice but to return them back to the store. Really disappointed as i really liked the colour and style of the shoes.

I should have read the reviews first before ordering - these shoes are a very neat fitting and were too tight.The shoes themselves looked fine and in the correct sizing would have been ideal. If ordering for yourself, I suggest you go up full size from your usual size.

So - two weeks in and I can report that these shoes are indeed extremely comfortable. Reading some of the reviews I was a little worried and they are a little difficult to put on and take off due to the neck (is that the right word) being very high and quite small. It is a little tight. However, for me, these came up just about true to size although I would imagine someone with a wide foot would have to go up a size - fortunately, they come in half sizes. Summary: these shoes are light as a feather and really comfortable for everyday use. I usually find it difficult to find shoes that are a comfortable fit ... I'd certainly recommend these.

I bought some shoes that did not fit. I took them back to my local store and got an immediate no quibble full refund. So now I am reordering in a larger size....

I previously owned a pair of these shoes, and they were the most comfortable work shoes I've ever owned straight out of the box. I've recently purchased a new pair and the experience has been nowhere near as positive. The design has changed altogether, and firstly the quality of the leather doesn't seem as good. It's harder and more plastic in feel. This has a direct implication on the comfort - I'm at work for my second day in these shoes and I'm in agony. The collar of the shoe is extremely narrow and consequentlly the shoes feel tight, as well as rubbing at the toes and heel. This feedback seems common across a few reviewers so I'd like to think M&S would take note. I won't buy them again in their current design.

These were a replacement for a pair that developed a fault in the sole. The redesigned sole is an improvement but the fit is not as good as the original pair. Also the leather is not as good quality. Disappointed.

the shoes are ideal for use at work very comfortable and look smart. had to change for a half size smaller then they were perpect

This shoe does not need alot of 'breaking in' and if like me you need to feel that there is room for your toes not to be squashed then it is ideal. I did find the brogue design a bit odd - somewhere between a full and half brogue, and the use of the colour orange inside the shoe and in a small area of the sole is a bit off-putting - brogues are a classic design and should be treated as such! In previous versions of this shoe the sole has split, but it is too early to tell with this one. All in all, very comfortable for all day office and commuting, and good value for money.

I have a slightly higher than standard instep (arch). To compensate for this I sometimes, with formal style shoes, buy a half size larger than usual to compensate. This I did - but found that the shoe throat so tight that I could not get my foot in - even with laces removed. I see this problem has been noted by another reviewer.
