Heritage Argyle Opaque Tights

Wanted a pair of jazzy tights and these fit the bill although a bit pricey the quality and fit are great

Although these tights are stylish and very warm they came up small in size and the white stitching was completely missing on the bottom of one leg therefore the pattern was distorted. I had already worn them before I realised and therefore did not return. Waste of an expensive £9.50!

I bought these tights as they looked warm and have a lovely traditional pattern - ideal for wearing with tunic dresses and boots during the colder months. I bought my regular size - medium. I am 5ft 3 and a size 14. When I put them on, I was surprised by the fact that the waistband came almost up to my armpits! The legs seemed to fit but the body part was way too long! I was philosophical about the sizing and thought the extra body length would keep me warm on a cold day (!!) but when I wore them on a day out, after walking some time, I was worried that they would slip down - perhaps enough for the plain black body part to show beneath my dress. I've only worn them once and haven't tried them again after washing - hopefully they have shrunk. The design is lovely but the fit is very strange. Overall, there doesn't seem to be a standard in sizing in Marks' tights these days.

I bought these tights in black and grey. They are more exciting than the usual plain tights but still go with several outfits. I bought another pair when I had worn them 3 times without going through the toes... I'm fed up of expensive tights that only last 1-2 wears..
