Zipped Waist Bootleg Trousers

I would recommend these beautiful trousers to anyone. They are excellent value for money, really smart or can be dressed down for a more casual look, They are so comfortable too and hang perfectly, because of the lovely fabric.

I bought these trousers for work, excellent fit and value for money.

As a slim petite buying smart work trousers can be quite a challenge, unless you are prepared to spend quite a bit for the ' privilege ' of getting a good fit, so pleasantly surprised by these great fitting trousers, yes they are slightly more 'fitted/slim' than usual bootleg styles but my 8 short (5ft 1") were spot on, smooth and sleek fitting with no bagginess or gaping - even better got mine on 20% day so a real bargain and will buy more -ideally in other colours too, navy would be a great alternative please !

These are great trousers, that don't crease. I had mine on for the first time for a whole day and they looked as good as new by 5pm. They are an easy shape to wear & I wore them with ankle boots and I think they look just fine.

Despite being inexpensive, these trousers fit nicely and the length was just right for me. I like the zip feature, but when wearing a belt, this detail is hidden.

Great fit on me (18 short), nice shape to leg, right length (slightly longer than most M&S Short trousers). I was sufficiently pleased with black pair I bought to order a navy & 2nd pair in black. Zip "feature" is utterly pointless, especially as would be hidden if you used belt loops provided.

I'm glad I finally found a good smart pair of trousers at M&S. Makes me look thinner thanks to the line, but a little smaller than my other M&S trousers so I went for one size up which was a safer choice. It washes well and easy. Little need of ironing. Not five star because the bottom hem came down on the first day due to a bad sewing. Little point in the unfanctioning zipper. But that's common with M&S trousers and not obstructive, either. I would recommend this.

Lovely trousers which I bought in store yesterday. Trouble is there was only medium length avail in the store - a wee bit long for me, but I wanted them to wear today so have a small sewing job to do. They were available in short on line, but as the medium isn't all that long, I think perhaps I've chosen the best option - short may have been a little too short. Anyway very pleased with the quality and fit and the pockets seem to fit in more neatly than on other trousers I've tried on - or bought and not worn much because of bulky/bulging pockets. I'll never use the pockets of course, that would be asking for problems, so why are they there? The pocket edge does form a nice oblique line though and I like the wee zips - all in all a satisfied customer.

I was disappointed with these initially because they are not really bootleg at all (although thankfully they are wider than 'slim leg'). Also, my usual size was too large at the hip and extremely big at the waist! Although I wasn't keen on the zips at the waist I decided to order a smaller size to try because this is one of VERY few smart styles that are available in navy.... The smaller size was a little snugger than I prefer (which is why I like bootleg trousers) but just about acceptable so I have decided to keep them - mainly because I was desperate for a pair of navy trousers as a change from black! One other thing I'm not keen on are the pockets.... If these had truly been bootleg trousers the pockets might have been ok but since they are slimmer fitting, I feel that pockets on the hips ruin the line of the side of the trousers - pockets on the hip are probably ok if your hips aren't much bigger than your waist but if, like me, you have a small waist and curving hips pockets are not ideal.
