The belt on these chinos is very cheap in quality and look, you would definitely need to remove it. The fit of the trousers is straight leg and true to size

The belt was of such poor quality I removed and dumped it. I never used it. The Chinos are quite a good fit and are comfortable. I bought three pairs. One in store I think at approximately £29; one with 20% discount with sparks and within a couple of days a pair I think at £18 or £19 pounds (I cant remember) but a bit annoyed that the 3rd pair (with no reference to sparks) was so much cheaper. Its too early to say whether they will be a good buy but so far so good

got all the colours now, really good soft feel to them fit well just make sure the length is ok for you as its a long fit, good quality and really good value for money as the belt comes with them and a quirky hanger

Found straight legged trousers that fit at last

I bought a pair of straight leg jeans a couple of years ago for my husband have been unable to source any similar in our local store when I spotted these on line. I don't think the quality is quite as good but with a 20% loyal customer reward discount plus 20% discount in store I got two pairs for slightly more than the cost of one. A bargain indeed and they're a good fit for him and in the right colour.

Nice fabric, well made. The straight style is good. More fitted than the regular fit, more tailored but not too skinny. A nice compromise when you want chinos that are not too casual. Belt ok but not great. Bought them in Grey & Navy. Would have bought another pair if they were available in a Light Stone

M&S constantly supply low waist jeans, when customer base require high waist garments. Disappointed again. Will keep trying but slowly giving up hope. Stylists need to understand it is no longer a young mans clothing department.

This pair of trousers is one of the best I own- they look great and the fit is perfect around the waist and upper thigh (not tight, and not loose).. The belt could be better quality though, but go very well with the trousers. Very good quality- washes well. Just a tip, wash on setting for reduced creases if you can- new trouser feel lasts longer :)

These trousers are a good fit on my husband, and look great, but the 'leather' belt is of such poor quality that it is already splitting apart after only a few wears. Shame - it spoils an otherwise 5 star review, as the cost of the belt must be included in the price of the trousers and affects the quality.
