1 oasis sphere
1 green dish
20 clove standard carnations, cut to the first node
5 white standard carnations, cut to the first node
5 white spray carnations, cut to 4cm under the base of the flower head
1 holly pick
1 cello, 100x120cm
Soak the oasis sphere in water then tape it into the green dish, making sure it's secure but that the tape is not cutting into the oasis.
Place five white standard carnations in a triangle at the top. Add the remaining white standard carnations on opposite sides.
Continue with the white spray carnations: add these around the standard carnations to create the icing drips.
Now to add the burgundy clove carnations. Place the first few nearest the centre white flowers, without leaving gaps.
Continue adding the clove carnations until the oasis is covered.
Lastly add the holly pick to the centre, in between the first white standard carnations you started with.
1 goldfish bowl, approximately 28cm
1/3 block of oasis
Approximately 40 small (5cm) pieces of noble fir snowed
1 frosted parvi eucalyptus, cut into small (9cm) pieces
1 glittered eryngium, minimum 3 heads
1 litre artificial snow (approximately 1/3 bowl full)
4 glittered silver white Kenyan roses, cut to approximately 6cm
3 snowed white avalanche roses, cut to approximately 7cm
Fill the goldfish bowl with snow, and level out.
Shape the oasis, cutting down by one third. Round the corners and edges by gently rubbing with the palm of your hand.
Trim the ends of the snowed noble fir pieces and start adding them to the base in a circle. Check it will fit in the bowl.
Continue adding the snowed noble fir pieces until the base of the oasis is covered.
Add the frosted parvi eucalyptus pieces evenly throughout.
Add the eryngium heads, ideally three around the sides and one off-centre at the top.
Carefully place the dome into the goldfish bowl, level it out on the snow and centralise.
Add the glittered white Kenyan roses. Try to get three of these to sit around the sides, and one directly on the top.
Finally, add the three snowed white avalanche roses in a triangle on the top of the dome, facing outwards.
