This dressing gown is high quality towelling and well made, very warm and cosy. I went for a large size although I would normally wear a medium, but I wanted it to be roomy, I find it fitted ok, so I would say this item fits a little small.

Massive and heavy

We only have a small M&S so rely on online ordering to pick up in store. This order contained a down jacket for my Dad, My husband slipped it on and it was too small which meant it was perfect for my Dad. I mention this because it reassured me that the dressing gown in a size up would then fit my husband. But on Christmas day it was a big disappointment. No exaggeration to say that we could both have got inside it and still had some to wrap over. Going back as soon as we can get to the shop.

Bit disappointed to have found that this has to be washed on a gentle 40 degree wash. Like to wash all my towelling at 60 degrees. For the price it should withstand a good wash.

This is a birthday present for my husband (Christmas Day!) but he tried it on to make sure it was ok.. He is 6' 1" so I ordered large online and it is a good fit for him. The piping enhances the look of the dressing gown. Thank you M&S for a quality item.

This is the nicest dressing gown my husband has had from Marks. It is made from really good quality toweling and cut in a generous attractive style. It does not look as though it will shed and is infinitely better than the fleecy varieties that are everywhere these days. It looks very classy on and my husband says it feels very comfortable, especially after a shower or bath. A big hit.

Originally ordered this in x large but had to return it as it was enormous (in fact I checked to see if I had been sent the wrong size). My husband really liked it but, unfortunately, it was out of stock when I tried to order a smaller size. Two weeks later (on return from holiday) it was back in stock so ordered a large. This was still big but as he likes his dressing gowns on the big size it was just right. The quality is very good (better than his current one which cost the same), thick and cosy, the colour is deep and the piping sets it off nicely. Haven't washed it yet so can't comment on how it washes. Ordered it online as not available in our local store. I bought it as a Christmas present but as soon as he tried it on it stayed on and his old one went in the recycling!
