Beware of purple

Nice eyeliner, slightly harder crayon than used to. Not at all convinced on purple, contrary to some of the reviews I don’t think it looks good on older skin. Nice and subtle when first on, then with a bit of hours on it looks like I’ve got red sore or very tired eyes! Not flattering, and I’m trying to avoid looking looking just like this. Wish I’d gone for blue, brown or even black.

Not so easy to apply
The colour is perfect, but the texture is a bit hard, and required a bit of patience to apply. It stays well once it's on.

Love this pencil
Don't knowvwhat it is about this black pencil from Diego della Palma (M&S), but it is the perfect black for me as an eye liner - better for me than the more expensive ones for some reason!

I love Diego Dalla Palma eye pencils - but they aren't easy to find. This is a beautiful shade of heather purple and on trend for autumn. Blends well initially then stays where it is put.

After reading all the reviews I bought this long, elegant eye pencil in NAVY. It sharpens well, goes on extremely smoothly with a top quality feel, & has good staying power. My only disappointment (hence only 4 stars), is that the NAVY shade has a very slight green tinge on me. I would have preferred a true blue NAVY shade to match my blue eyes.
