Feed the Root Conditioner 250ml

I really wanted to like this conditioner but it's awful. I've been using it for over a month and it has done nothing to my hair except make it look damaged and dirty. It left a horrible waxy residue that no amount of rinsing could remove. Two minutes after blow drying, my hair looked as though I hadn't washed it for a week. Brushing it after blow drying, the hair stayed in the position that the brush put it as though I had vaseline in my hair. I also found it quite difficult to move the product around. The instructions say "lavish" it onto your whole head. If you want to do that, you will need a lot of product as it doesn't seem to move through your hair the way other conditioners do. Before buying, try and get a sample first.

This is now officially my favourite conditioner.. ever! It moisturised my normally very dry ends, it smells nice and the packaging is beautiful too. The instructions on it tells you to massage it on to your scalp and apply to all of your hair, not just ends. Which surprised me. I thought that would make my hair/roots go lanky and greasy, but when my hair dried it still had volume and my sensitive scalp felt soothed. It left my hair really shiny too. Lovely product overall. Will be buying again!!

I really, really wanted to like this product - high animal ethics, botanical etc, etc but.........this is far too rich for my dry hair. Used it as a normal conditional, washed hair, applied product, combed through and left for a couple of minutes. However, when I attempted to rinse off there seemed to be a waxy residue which was hard to get off. After blow drying my hair it seemed to go limp quickly and looked greasy so I guess I didn't get it all off. Next time round I used it as a treatment and shampooed afterwards. This worked better and left my hair shining and not too weighed down. It's fine as an occasional treatment but, in my experience, not a day to day conditioner

love this stuff!! works amazingly well and not much needed. Leaves your hair feeling soft, but not oily and easy to manage. Would highly recommend.

i received the feed the root toolkit as a christmas present... i used it this morning,and my usually mad frizzy locks are wonderfully smooth,and my hair is really glossy and shiny. the shampoo initially feels like it is stripping your hair,but take no notice of that,once the conditioner is applied,the effect is nothing short of miraculous! i cannot emphasise enough how good these products are! i have very damaged hair,and this stuff has transformed it in one fell swoop! scent is light and pleasant,and no animals suffered for the sake of my vanity either :) if you are looking for an affordable miracle for damaged stringy hair,buy this!!

This product is excellent, well worth the money. My hair can be very frizzy and using this shampoo and conditioner made my hair smooth and salon like. Very pleased and also a big bonus for me is that these products are not tested on animals.
