Leather Bowler Bag

I had been looking at this particular bag in my local store and thought how nice it was. But thought it was a little bit on the pricey side. So when I received an email with a 20% off store voucher I thought that this was a good offer so ordered it online. I am very pleased with my purchase but have put it away until Christmas as it will be a present from my husband. He is very pleased that I got a price reduction ! I do like the look and feel of the bag but have not yet used it. but I am not anticipating any problems.

I bought this bag in green and the first time I used it a stranger stopped me and asked me where I had got it from as they loved the colour and since then several people have commented on it. I purchased it on-line when there was 20% off, so it was a real bargain. This is the first bag I have purchased from M & S and I usually spend a lot more on a leather bag, so I was wondering how they could do it for the price. The leather is really nice, but it has cheap lining, but I am not complaining for the money I paid - just an observation. The bag is just the right size - not too big and not too small. It comes with a detachable shoulder strap and the first thing I did was take it off, as in my opinion this style of bag isn't meant to have a shoulder strap.

When I saw this item in store I liked it, I went home to think about it then I ordered it to be delivered to my home address also I got 20% off, but having used it I find the zip is not very good, I did mentioned it to a supervisor when I next went into Store, the supervisor was more than helpful and she went testing a couple of these bags they had in store, she did say she understood where I was coming from and she found the same problem, I have got my receipt and can take it back if I wished to, I do like the style of the bag and I find one compartment is a lot better than a few compartment..

This bag is incredibly good quality and the vivid green looks great with my dark winter coat. It is structured but spacious with useful interior pockets for keys etc. I was on the verge of spending a lot more on a designer bag but I'm so glad I didn't waste my money!

Brought this handbag for my daughter aged 25yrs old. She has plum coloured one like the model holding in photo. The leather is soft and its makes for a stylish work handbag brightens up black & greys clothing too. she loves it & excellent quality . thanks M&S
