I saw this hat a few months ago and loved it. I never wear hats but as I'm going to Bali next spring I'm going to need one. I decided to wait and see if it went in the summer sale but unfortunately it hasn't. In the current 50% off summer special there were a few hats at half price but i still preferred this one. So i bit the bullet and bought it. It will be a long wait til I can wear it on holiday though unless we suddenly get scorching hot weather again.

Lovely soft hat, not too floppy but not hard & rigid. Came up rather big as I usually buy med/lge hats but the sml/med was perfect for me

I carefully checked teh sizing - S/M is supposed to be 22cm, M/L 23cm. I am 7 1/4 which is 23cm - but when it arrived it is at least 1-2 cm bigger than that! I've taken a couple of tucks in the band to make it fit, but I do wish M&S would get sizing consistent! Other than that a lovely lightweight hat, and the folded up brim at the back is ideal for short necks like mine.

Wanted a navy straw, very casual hat and had n't seen anything else.Could have done without the scarf attachment being only 5'2" Too big for me. I would have paid more for a smaller size. Like my experience with a lot of M&S clothes these days-'nearly right'.

Really pleased with this. As others have commented the medium large is really large and although my head is larger than average the small medium is a good fit. Looks lovely. Can dress it up or just use as a sub hat. Makes me want to go to Wimbledon!
