Velvet Pencil Pleat Ultra Thermal Curtains

The curtains are absolutely beautiful and made from high-quality, thick material. We chose the blackout curtains, and I am very pleased with them. The color is exquisite and perfectly complements our master bedroom. However, I am experiencing difficulty finding matching curtain rings for the pleated curtains. These rings are not available online or at my local M&S store. Despite contacting customer service, I have not received helpful assistance in locating where these rings can be purchased. It seems unusual for the store to sell curtains without offering the corresponding rings. This has been the only disappointing aspect of the purchase.

Fabulous curtains. Lovely colour and very thick - almost a duvet lining. I bought narrower that recommended so that they close and pull back comfortably,

If you're looking for warm curtains these are a good choice, and they're very good value too. I needed insulating curtains in a neutral colour for our living room and the two pairs I bought fitted the bill. The so-called champagne colour is in fact more of a greyish beige. However there is one major flaw, as pointed out by many other reviewers. The creases created by very tight folding in the packaging are still there, even after some six weeks and in spite of light ironing. Very disappointing - I may well end up using the curtains as super-warm linings. Please M&S, give us some guidance!

Beautiful thick lined curtains with luxurious velvet finish. They are excellent draught excluders and the blue and green are lovely colours. Very good value as the quality is exceptional!

I was really surprised with our curtains. Soooo happy with the quality and the thermal linings are exceptionally thick . Colour is spot on our colour scheme. Hang beautifully. It is the first time I have bought ready made curtains in- 49 years ! Always made my own, due to being particular. Due to curtain fabric shops closing, I shopped around and gave M&S a try. So pleased I did. The only frustrating thing I found was there were no curtain samples in store , I was told just order and if not right could return, no problem. The order arrived in store , the next day, again this is exceptional. Well done M&S. I am one happy customer. Regards.

The curtains are lovely, but are very creased when taken out of the packaging. The creases don’t drop out with hanging. However, I bought a steamer and a couple of goes with that did the trick. They’re looking lovely now.

No, I cannot recommend the pencil pleated ones. After 50 years of hanging curtains, they certainly do not hang properly and nothing like in the M & S photo. There is too much bulk in the ultra thermal ones to pleat together, and it makes the heading look abnormal. Pity as the quality is nice, and the thermal backing is good, but the pencil pleat tape should not of been stitched over the thermal backing, and your quality control seriously missed a problem there. Now not sure what to do with £135.00 worth of curtains!!

I want to say I really love these but after months of them hanging the creases haven't dropped out. This makes them look cheap and tacky. One very unhappy customer.

The champagne colour brightens room. Lovely texture. Keeps the heat in when closed.

I bought these for a couple of external doors and they are amazing! Am using one panel on each door and they keep the heat in beautifully. The velvet looks very smart and I was lucky with the sizing as they are just the right length. Miles cheaper than having a panel made.

Great quality, luxurious, thick padded lining built in. Lovely soft feel.
