Silk & Modal Thermal Leggings

Love these under jeans they are not bulky and they are lovely and warm fits well well pleased with these

I have to say that I practically live in the heatgen thermal leggings from the regular thermal range, but of course they all had to go into holes at the same time of year when they are not readily available (why don't you sell them all year round M & S?), these were one of the only types of black thermals still available in my size at this time of year. These leggings are not a good substitute for those I usually buy as it doesn't mention in the description anywhere that the material is in fact ribbed and I primarily use my thermal leggings to wear under shorter skirts. The material does feel nice and I'm sure it would be fine worn under trousers of a longer skirt. The sizing certainly comes up smaller than the other thermal ranges. These aren't bad, just not suitable for the purpose I purchased them for.

Got these as thought they would be warmer than my thermal tights but on comparison I found they weren't & I had cold ankles! ( where the lace is ) They are a fair bit more expensive than the thermal tights. They are nice & soft but I'd suggest getting the tights.

These fit slightly small, but they are comfortable. The fabric is lovely and they are great as an alternative to tights with certain outfits.

I bought this and as I happened to have a 20% off thermal wear on my Sparks card, I even managed to same a few quid. I did buy the matching vest style bodysuit to match them though. I'm all happy, comfy and cosy with my thermals this year.

I bought these in black and cream. I love the fact that they are long enough to cover the ankle and do not ride up when I sit down. I bought these in two sizes - 14 (my usual size) and 16. I usually find with thermals that I need to go up a size but decided to buy 14 to wear under straight trousers so no bulk and a smooth line. Amazingly warm and comfortable with enough stretch for a comfortable fit. The size 16 is perfect for me when worn with longer skirts, dresses and ankle/high boots. I like the added lace at the ankle for an edgy touch. I wash in wool detergent - no shrinkage and the softness remains. These are more expensive than the usual thermals but I highly recommend, especially for this cold weather.

I specify longjohns, because these aren't really for wearing like tights or all-purpose leggings - although they can be - they're underwear. Comfortable, light yet warm, breathable and not remotely itchy (unlike the cashmere blend version). I originally bought these as part of a set and still have the pretty long-sleeve top, but the bottoms have only just become available again. I'm delighted M&S have reinstated them, and have bought two pairs in quick succession. The waist is higher than previously (I think) but it's not a problem. Sizing and fit are good; I love that they're long enough to keep your ankles warm, snug enough not to sag, but not at all tight. Highly recommended.

These are thin and can be worn under trousers or jeans in winter. I have seen these on the website for 2 winters but they were never in stock. I now have 2 pairs. Matching tops are good too. Not at all bulky like other thermals.
