Textured Round Neck Short Sleeve Top

I was looking forward to receiving this top, especially at such a bargain price. It seemed to be just what I was looking for, and I love red. However, although it did fit in the body, the neckline was very high and scratchy. Also, as other reviewers have noted, the shoulders stood up in peaks. Unfortunately, it has been returned.

I love the material. It is very easy to wear. Comfy and pretty. However the shoulders look a bit ‘pointy’ and don’t fit snugly. I would love to see a white top like this. They only do black and red.

For my taste I would have gone a size up, but the material is forgiving. This material is lovely Ive had a few tops in this over the years and love it as it does not cling to much but keeps its shape for those who like slightly fitted. Going up a size in this material I have found does not distract or end up looking baggy. I wish M&S and other shops would use this material more, plain and with patterns I just think it is so flattering, and best of all it does not need to be ironed :0)

The neck is nice and stretchy without being too 'scoopy' and the fabric is lovely.

I bought this in black, hoping for a useful, slightly dressy top. It's a nice slightly ruched material so won't need ironing and will pack well. It's comfortable to wear and size 12 was a proper size 12 (not big as many of M and S items seem to be these days). However the shoulders seemed to stick up and looked odd. I have quite broad shoulders so it wasn't a case of being too slight for the top. It seems to have been cut badly. I did read the reviews before ordering and saw this mentioned by others. I wish I had taken it back but wore it thinking the shoulders would soften (they didn't).

Really nice can wear with anything,only downside I want more but I’m not a red person so would luv it in pastel colours,it’s a wash and wear top

I really liked this top when I saw it in store and bought it in a 14, it was massive on me so I returned it and ordered a 12 online. It was still a bit big but I didn't want it too fitted. Unfortunately the seams over the shoulders were very bumpy and stood up so I had to return the top, this was disappointing as it was a great colour and I had liked the texture of the fabric so much I also ordered one in black, it had the same problem with the shoulder seams and was also returned..

Lovely top .Washes well .True to size. Comfortable to wear.

Just loved this top, got both colours the style and fit were perfect, easy wash what more can I say .... oh yes wish they did it in navy

Style,quality,value for money and fit all score top marks but .......................... please marks and spencer's consider that this top is in your spring and summer collection and l it would be wonderful if this really versatile top came in appropriate colour such as beige, lilac or even white............. no there is a choice of red or black. Ideal for holidays packs easily and does not crease. Lets have it in some light summery colours.
