Don’t buy!! Honestly!!

No, I don't recommend this
This jacket has a great shape to it, very flattering, however, there’s a good few things this jacket needs to meet the price that M&S is charging. The hood is the only rain jacket that I ever worn that gets my hair wet at the front off my head. The peak on the hood (that should keep the hair and face sheltered like my other rain coats) is only structured by a cord. So unless you have the cord really tight, only seeing your nose, that’s only way your hair and forehead is staying dry. The peak needs to be structured without relying on the cord. Or is the hood just too short? It could also use some magnet clip buttons. So you have the option to zip or clip, especially for this price. Then there’s the arm length!!!!! How is this rain coat still for sale. The arm length alone is a massive let down for this coat. So when it’s raining, my hair and face is wet. My wrists are wet. I’m sorry I never brought this back. I bought another short rain coat and it has everything with it except the length and it was €50 cheaper. Pity, but also scandalous that this jacket is still for sale. Don’t buy it! Honestly, there’s better out there for this price and less. Don’t do it!! Unless you have toddler arms and a flat head, go for it.

Nice Jacket although a little pricey!!
Really nice jacket, great quality although I thought a bit more pricey than it needed to be. If I am being very picky I’d say the toggles at the front which tie are a little too high up on the jacket and end up tying just below the bust.

Absolutely love this coat! It’s light so not too warm but for colder days it’s perfect with a jumper under. Tried it in heavy rain and it’s definitely water proof. Love the shape, fit and material. True to size and brilliant quality.

Almost perfect weatherwear

Not tested exhaustively yet, but appears waterproof, and length of coat is great. Although generally roomy, less generous across shoulders, and arms are a bit short for a proper waterproof coat. I bought a size up from my normal size as I like to wear layers under a coat, and I had hoped that this would mean the sleeves were a better length, as other reviews have mentioned the shortness of sleeve. They are only just OK, but the length and waterproofing are major positives, so I have kept the coat. The rose-brown colour is very nice.

Nearly there :)

Missing about 3 inch from sleeve length hence a star deducted for each sleeve. I’m 5’10”, size 16UK and this fits great everywhere else apart from the sleeves. What happened? Run out of material, or patience, at design stage? Material is ideal for those 4-5C temps when you don’t want to combust with a jumper or fleece underneath your jacket. Shower proof ok but wouldn’t attempt anything serious rain wise.

Lovely colour. Not very thick for a rain mac. Would need a coat underneath. Nice length. Bought in dark taupe (which is a dark berry tone)

Not for anyone with boobs due to elastic position

Sleeves are really short but size overall is quite roomy. I hadn’t realised the elastics look like nipples until I’d take the tag off.

Good weatherproof coat in plus sizes too.

Wanted agood water and wind resistant coat for outdoor use through the seasons. This coat seems excellent. I can layer fleece and gilet underneath. My only slight niggle so far is how high the waist cinch is. Well above my waist. The taupe colour is a nice brick pink.

Great coat
Always a popular rain coat, it’s light and has been tested by the elements and is definitely soak proof! I had a previous design and due to weight loss got the next design. It’s a size 12 and is roomy and I am a 14-16 and I can still wear a jumper underneath comfortably. My only annoyance is the zip when walking constantly bangs onto itself at the bottom of the coat and unless you fold it up and put the popper over it to top it tapping with every walk

I brought this coat in September last year. Its been a really good wind proof water resistant coat also keeps you cool and warm at the same time. It looks very stylish. Its been that good i bought another in December.

Lovely coat
Lovely coat. I have been out in torrential rain and hailstone and I was still dry. If it's very cold you would probably need layers under it. Ordered a smaller size than I would normally.

Well made coat

The coat was lovely, beautifully made and a nice length, however I would have preferred some padding inside the coat as I feel the cold easily. I returned the coat as I wanted the green but they were no longer available in my size and the other colours didn’t suit me.

Nicely cut, simple and stylish waterproof coat - in a kind of dusty plum colour which is unusual and gorgeous.

Waterproof Dog Walking
Bought the coat to keep dry while dog walking. I thought that because of the cost it would be light and waterproof, it was unlined, with a plastic zip and no cuff just elastic round the bottom of the sleeve. I found better quality goretex jackets online for a lesser cost, very dissapoined and in my opinion not value for money.
