Secret Slimming™ Tab Front Ruched Swimsuit

Bought this in the sale and was delighted with the price. But after trying on I was very disappointed. The straps were not long enough even though they could be altered. It was digging into my shoulders. I am 5 ft 6/7 tall so would have thought straps would have accommodated my height. My sister in law bought exactly the same costume, she is only 5 ft 3 in and it fits her vey well. So this costume is only suitable for smaller women. What a shame!

Ordered this as a back up in case the other swimsuit didn't fit. I thought it may be a little plain but loved it when I put it on. A lovely bright pink, very pleased

I bought a size 16 in a gorgeous shade of pink. Sadly it has to go back. The fit is very poor, short in the body (and I consider myself as a petite size). The bust part fit is very small. Not the usual fit of other M&S swimsuits I have purchased. If you want one buy a bigger size.

Perhaps I am an odd shape - although I don't think so - because after all, a good fit in a swimsuit is critical, both for looks and for confidence when wearing it. I am 5'4" tall, and a bit of a flat-chested size 10. This swimsuit fits me better at the top (I would buy a 34A bra) than at the hips, where the fit around the tops of my legs is a little more relaxed than I would like. The front panel does seem to hold in my tummy (although I haven't got much), and the ruching does give the illusion of a curvy figure. I would have preferred a slightly higher cut to the legs, though, as the squarer cut doesn't do much to enhance the length of my legs. As someone else has mentioned, the straps - even fully extended - are ridiculously short. I am hoping that they will stretch a bit with wear and washing. If you can get a good fit then it's a reasonable swimsuit and good value for the Secret Slimming aspect. It's a bit hard to actually rave about it otherwise, though, as it could be better with a bit of tweaking to the design.

Gorgeous colour, and I buy a slimming swimsuit from M&S every year. Even though I am about 10llbs lighter this year, I still bought the same size - perfect - in fact maybe not quite as tight as I would have expected on tum (see earlier comment) - perfect until I pulled straps over shoulders. They are so short. Even on full length - it felt like a ten tonne weight on each shoulder, never mind the indentation I got immediately. Such a shame. Beautiful beautiful colour, good quality - I can't praise highly enough the colour - that hurt even more -so much so I waited 2 minutes to see if I could cope with the shoulder pain - no! and it's not a style to wear without shoulder straps. I could cry as the colour is perfect

This swimsuit fits really well and is so comfortable, I have a big bust and find it difficult to get swimsuits to fit well, but this style is so supportive and the straps are adjustable and are wide enough to not cut in to the shoulders. I like this style so much that I've bought 4 in different colours.
