Secret Slimming™ Lace-up Swimsuit

I originally wanted this swimsuit in black but as my local store only had the red in my size I bought it really just to see what the fit was like. I liked it so much I went on to get it in black as well. It will do for what I want it for, a week in the sun. Only gripe is the cups should have had a stich or two in to hold them in place otherwise its a nice swimsuit

FAR TOO SMALL, RETURNED TO store

What a lovely, flattering swimsuit! I am so pleased I brought this. When I first picked it up my automatic thoughts were "it won't fit over my bust but after trying it on I felt super confident and comfortable. I'm a petite size ten with a generous bust so trying on swimwear which fits, gives good coverage but not too "mummsie" or too revealing is so hard! But this one ticks all the boxes. It's a lovely colour red, I feel fashionable in it and it lifts and supports around my bust. I absolutely love it and brought it in black too! Please M&S, do this style in more colours for next summer! Although slightly pricey, it's worth every penny. Go get it ladies!

I found this swimsuit, but I was not keen on the colour orange. I could see that they also did it in black but did not have it in my size. I was told by the shop assistant that I could order it in the black and it would be sent to my local M&S branch. Sure enough, the following day, I received an email to inform me that my swimsuit had arrived. Excellent service and I was able to collect my black swimsuit less than 24 hours from when I ordered it.

I am of a certain age, only in years, and this swimsuit was a little short and also quite low in the back. I have ordered a larger size, not my usual size (14), and tried on similar in red and it seemed OK, long enough though subsequently not as 'gripped' around the middle as the smaller size (14). I think it will be fine and very useful but not amazing.

Had thought this costume would be perfect however the lack of support in the bust area was very disappointing so the costume returned. There is a good market for bra sized swimwear - without padding but perhaps with some wiring - which stores need to tap into. I returned this item

could not return to shop as i used it once only trusting that it would be the correct size as always for the last 20 years no problem!!!!!! i doubt if i will be buying anything else online again from your store very dissapointed customer

Bought this in a size 22, fitted nice enough so decided to keep it. However this swimsuit is so impractical - as some other reviews state, the cups are useless; they absolutely refuse to stay in place. I had an unfortunate incident where the cups and I parted company in a jacuzzi, which was pretty embarrassing. But the worst thing is the straps - they always come undone when you're halfway wiggled into the costume, and you have to get someone to do them up - incredibly frustrating. If you're going to sell a costume in a size 22, it needs to accommodate a size 22! Thicker straps and fixed cups! Sending back as it's totally useless.

I ordered this having seen it recommended in The Times magazine a couple of weekends ago. I'm a size 10 so don't have a slim butt but it's not huge either however this swimsuit cut straight across the middle of my butt cheeks - not a good look. Several costumes seem to be cut in this way this year so perhaps it's fashionable but it's not a good look.

I bought this in black. I'm a standard size 10. Might buy an 8 on occasions in M&S. I often find I have to size up in some swimwear brands. Particularly true sportswear brands. This suit, however, I bought in a size 10. So it's true to my dress size. I love the really low back and the textured quality to the material so it doesn't feel too clingy like the smooth shiny Lycra suits. I like that there's no "drapery" over the tummy. It's smooth. Sometimes the rouching can look a bit frumpy. It's very sweet and fashionable without feeling too young. Looks good with denim shorts over it for paddy around post beach/pool. I bought it because I didn't want a functional sportswear one; I didn't want a lounging around glam one that's only good for posing in (not that I do! ) but I wanted a nice swimsuit for holiday that I could actually swim in. I mean really swim in!!! Do lengths in!!! I find the ones with bra type action in the front just feel like they will fall down with any proper speed of swimming. So this got 4 stars because it lacked the "wow" factor but ticked some boxes so I will keep it!
