Pure Merino Wool V-Neck Jumper

It’s a lovely jumper, very fine and looks nice. BUT, the sizing is awful. Large (supposedly = 16), was absolutely massive it was more like 20+. I returned and bought the medium in both Red and Black. Black medium was perfect, red medium was too small. I measured the difference - which was about 5 cm around the chest (2-3 cm wider when laid flat). This should not happen. It’s sad that with M&S that the variability is huge, not only do you have to try the garment on, you have to try each colour in it too.

This merino V neck jumper is a lovely shade of mid blue, just what I wanted. It is soft to the touch but much thinner than expected. The sizing is difficult, the large is a bit big on me and rather too long, I usually wear a 16, but I know the medium, 12-14 will be too small. I have decided to keep it for the summer partly because of the colour.

Nice quality (not too thin, unlike some others). Washes very well and keeps its shape.

I was looking for a red jumper for the Christmas season, and found this to be ideal. I always love merino wool because it's fine yet warm, and no itchiness as I get with a coarser wool. This one is also a good length, coming below the waistline of my jeans, and a perfect fit across the shoulders and bust. I think I'll get a lot of wear out of it over the next few weeks. The only reason I've not give 5 stars is because I'd have liked the colour to be a 'redder' red - it is slightly on the orange side.

I’ve bought these before and liked them. They are thin, but wash well. I downsized because I’ve lost weight but the smaller one is a bit on the skimpy side. I wouldn’t return it because the sizing isn’t that much of an issue. But in future I’ll keep to the bigger size.

I love M & S merino wool jumpers. They are comfortable, of lovely quality and wash well in the machine. I particularly like the b-neck style and would like more colour availability eg ivory, camel and burgundy. They are priced and an excellent addition to any wardrobe.

I wanted a cosy warm wool jumper and thought that was what I was buying. This jumper sounded perfect. I don't remember reading it's a very fine merino wool jumper. As such, it it had to be returned. I wanted cosy. I gave 4 stars because there's nothing wrong with the jumper, just too fine for me. Ideal for late spring, early summer.

I’ve bought merino wool jumpers in previous seasons but they’ve been available in individual sizes rather than S, M, L etc. I am pleased with my purchase this year although the sleeves I have to have a triple cuff on!

Really good value (bought before went into the sale). This is a red that would suit every skin tone. Made of 100%wool

I have bought this in two colours, allegedly the same size but they couldn’t be more different. The red one was great, exactly what I wanted. Good weight, good sleeve length. The blue one, however, was thinner, the sleeves were far too long and altogether much bigger. I had to send it back.
