I ordered this with another similar style intending on keeping one or the other but have kept both in fact. This dress looks crisp and summery and is cotton - always a bonus. Although I'm quite chunky and not very tall (5'3") this dress looks good on me I think and creates a waist where I don't really have one. It's a nice length too. I love the top half with its gathering and sleeves and the skirt is full enough to swish but is not gigantic. My normal size is a great fit.
