Pure Cotton Luxury Sateen Dressing Gown

Perfect early birthday present to replace a tired old dressing gown, ideal for these cold mornings

This dressing gown is warm and cosy enough without the need for the sateen cotton outer layer, which only adds to the weight and makes it look bulky. Simple one layer towelling would have been better.

I was pleased with this dressing gown when I first bought it but I've had dreadful problems washing it. I can only assume that the very favourable reviews were written before the laundry experience. Not only is it very heavy but it comes out of the washing machine in a terrible mess. The lining is terry towelling and there's a thin cotton outer layer - not very clear in the description - and the entire garment gets into a tangled mess with the sleeves having to be dragged out of the heavy, wet towelling. It's like trying to extract an octopus from collapsed, wet tent.

Excellent quality ,good material, but quite heavy! Keeps you VERY Warm.

Beautiful dressing gown and lovely quality. Only dressing gown in proper towelling. Would have been nice to have in other colours as dressing gowns take some stick!

Have had my old towelling dressing for years from M & S and this one feels absolutely wonderful and I know it will last.

This is a lovely dressing gown - I always buy dressing gowns in a much larger size than I actually take as I like it to have a lot of fabric to wrap. I am tall and would have liked an option to have a long fitting but only standard was available in this style. The only negative I have is that it is quite heavy fabric but good that it is 109% cotton and no man made fibres

A lovely quality cotton gown that my wife absolutely loves - she also looks very nice in it!!

Disappointed with item it was so heavy and looked like it was inside out, it was lovely toweling but completely spoiled buy the unsightly outer layer
