Pure Cotton Boxy Top

Love the shape of this, goes so well with high waisted trousers. More colours please M&S!

Perfect shape and sizing, material feels good quality although only time will tell if it is or not. Lovely colour of green. I know this one will get lots of wear all year round

I like my boxy teeshirt as it suits my figure . However before I could even try it on I had to wash it as the smell coming from it was quite horrid . It smelt strongly of bad meat so whether it fitted or not I had to cut the labels off and wash it . Why are clothes bought online smelling so horrid . I gather from reading other reviews that I am not the only person to complain . Please M & S suit this out you will loose custom .

I kept this top because I liked the colour and overall shape. But why are the sleeves so long? I’ve returned two other items recently because the arms were extremely long. I’ve had to alter the sleeves on this top to make it wearable.

Its a good fit for me. I'm 8/10 and purchased 8 which is a loose fit and fairly short length but covers my waist. I got the green and the white with plum stripes. The cotton feels good quality and have washed them both before wearing due to the unpleasant smell of the fabric. Both washed and ironed well. I agree with others that the sleeves are long and quite wide. I imagine they will bunch up when wearing a sweater of cardigan over the top. I may shorten and take them in.

Perfect slightly oversized layer for the colder months in the perfect brown tone. I enjoy layering mine under knitted vests or just under a nice coat with jeans

Nothing wrong with the quality but it is as is says on the tin, 'boxy', the shape did not suit me at all so reluctantly sent it back.

Good quality top, sleeves good length but not very long which is frustrating. Could only wear with high waisted trousers.

When I collected and opened the parcel I firstly noticed a really strong nasty smell. The top absolutely stunk! The colour was awful too, I wouldn’t describe it as olive, more like sludge. I know the top wasn’t expensive but come on, it definitely wasn’t up to M&S usual standard. I returned the item and the sales assistant even commented on the smell before I had chance to mention it.

Love the shape of this boxy cut t-shirt. It's quite short-waisted, which some people will not like, but I love it because it suits my silhouette. Great for layering. Also love the colours available. Washes well and barely needs ironing.

The shape and style is what I expected. The cotton fabric has a strange synthetic feel. But the top smelt terrible when I took it out of the bag and affected the room I hung it in. I quickly realised that it had to be washed before I could wear it!

The top had an overpowering 'vinegary' smell when it was unpacked (preservative?) I hung it outside the wardrobe and it has now disappeared thankfully. The top fits well but is short in the body and long in the sleeves (they finish below my fingertips). As the sleeves are very loose they will not stay pushed up so I am going to take about 15cm off so they end above my wrists. Bought to wear underneath a jacket so the short body is not a problem.
