Printed V-Neck Midi Waisted Dress

I’m usually a 12 long in M&S dresses and ordered this, l was so happy that the body was longer too and the waist seam was actually on my waist! Sadly the sleeves aren’t long enough, the shirring moves to sit in the crook of my elbow which l know from past experience will be uncomfortable, especially in warmer weather. I thought about trying to shorten them but l’m not confident about my sewing skills. The colour is a pretty fresh green and the dress is a good length but it’s not for me.

Saw the dress in store didnt have my size ordered on line came quickly really pleased with the fit, havent worn it yet saving for a wedding in April, I will get plenty of use out of this versatile dress

At last, after having returned so many dresses I have found a lovely dress that fits. I am 5' 9" tall and in dresses, a size 16/18. I bought a size 18 long because I need the waist on the dress to come down to my waist line, and not end up half way between my bust and waist which looks odd. The dress is good value, very pretty and light enough to take on . holiday. It is unlined. I do hope M&S will bring out more dresses like this with the longer length body. I bought the multicoloured dress. I am putting a coloured stretchy belt with a gold buckle to go with it instead of the cloth belt supplied.

It’s a lovely dress, length great for petite size. Would look good if belts were made a available to buy in a colour from the dress, then match up with shoes and handbag.
