Leave the dials at pre-set combination 0-0-0 and pull out the shackle
•
Turn the shackle anti-clockwise to 90 degrees and press down all the way
•
Keep holding the shackle and set the dials to your own desired combination.
•
(Do not let go of the shackle while setting the dials)
•
Release the shackle and return to its original position. Your lock is now ready to open at your own personal combination

Yes, I recommend this
The lock is quite sturdy, but it is a little fiddly to change the code from the pre-set one to the one I wanted to have. Once set, however, the lock is easy to use

Not fit for purpose in the slightest
No, I don't recommend this
Changed the combination in accordance with the instructions, but on having done this, the lock would never close again! This was bought back in December, but this is our first holiday so I guess too late to return it. M&S - stop stocking these!

Unsatisfactory
No, I don't recommend this
Not very impressed with this lock, worked at first and then refused to open even though I knew the combination was right. Had intended returning it but unfortunately couldn't find receipt so it was written off.
