Linen Rich Striped Waisted Midi Dress

Unfortunately I had to return this dress because I couldn't bear the feel of the linen against my skin. I also have the same problem with wool. No fault of the dress.

Loose fit on bottom half but fits nicely around the top. Can be used casually or for a slightly smarter event. Inclined to crease with being linen but to be expected.

lovely quality linen dress. The size was too big and had to return. Pity as I couldn't order a smaller size - no stock there was no stock in a smaller size. More linen dresses like this M&S and preferably knee length

Sooo sorry to write such a poor review but I found this dress to be very very drab and rather bland. The fabric is a good quality and very comfortable to wear, albeit the waistline is very roomy but I guess that’s the style. It reminds me of sacking, which may be okay for some but unfortunately did absolutely nothing for me so was returned.

Lovely casual dress, going to be great for my holiday abroad. Neckline a little low for me, but a kettle sticth will fix that

I love it. I’d been admiring this dress for weeks and then it appeared in the sale! The fabric, style, fit and quality are all very good. I’ve recently lost some weight so I may not be the best person to judge, but I think it’s a little on the large size, accepting that it is supposed to be a loose fit. Also think it might be a bit warm for hot weather, but who cares, it’s a beautiful dress.

I like the dress but found the neckline too low so had to do a bit of sewing to adjust the neckline. Also the pockets are huge and rather baggy. I have kept the dress for a casual summer dress but think the design team need to rethink the idea of using huge pockets. Had the same problem with a cardigan this year.

Nice style totally wrong fo4 me too big drab and not at all what I expected sadly.

I love this dress. The style is flattering - skims the body and not at all clingy. The fabric is substantial and I like the pockets. A good length for me, below the knees as I’m 5 foot 9 inches and too old for short dresses!! Please make more dresses in this style. Definitely a winner in my view.

Really useful on holiday. Very comfortable. Covers all sins. Has sleeves, covers knees - whats not to like? Not see through. Washes well. Doesn't instantly crease. If you like things fitted its not for you. If you like comfort give it a go.

With a lovely loose fit, this dress is so comfortable. It has a good style and in no way ressembles a sack just because it is a loose fit! In no way is it frumpy. I bought my usual size and it is perfect. I am tall and the length is good too. It can be pulled on over the head, despite having buttons down the front, which is great for lazy people like me. I also like the fact that although it contains linen, there is none of that annoying creasing. Jazz it up with bright accessories.

This is a lovely casual dress but as with the red one the 'V'is too low & I will have to pin it. The colour is a bit bland so may wear it with a navy camisole otherwise a nice casual dress.
