This item was not available in a size 12 which I would normally choose, so I ordered a size 14 to try. The fit is generally good but I don't have slim legs. The size 12 would probably be smaller on the waist. I think the larger size will last longer as the fabric is under less strain. I prefer the cropped style for excercise classes and these feel like a quality weight of fabric.

I love the style, shape and design of these leggings and better value for money than similar styles from specialist workout retailers.

Looks small but perfect fit when tried on. The color on the picture is off... is grey not black. Happy with my purchase. :)

As previous reviewers have said they are wrongly sized. Colour and design good but you would definitely need a bigger size. Unfortunately had to return.

Contrary to other reviews, I found these leggings to be comfortable, flattering and true to size. Perhaps it was because I am on the shorter side but I have received positive comments when wearing them.

got these together with the long top as going away for a spa week...feels so comfortable and true to size. I'm 5'10 size 14 true to size ..amazing value when looking at other brands..well done M&S!

The sculpting/control element of these is indeed flattering, and the length, (I am on the tall side), surprisingly. However, I am usually an 8 and having to buy sportswear two sizes bigger(12) is a bit disappointing. Unless it's some sort of motivational tactic on the part of M and S?!!
